Darlene has over 25 years of experience in maximizing the contributions of people in the workforce through effective human resource management. She has held a variety of long-term, senior management positions with such high profile industry leaders as MacDonald Dettwiler., QLT., Prospera Credit Union. and the ATS Traffic Group.

As the Chief People Officer of HRDiva, Darlene uses her extensive experience to help companies big and small with every aspect of human resource management. A Human Resources leader who is passionate about developing people and culture, fostering employee engagement, and strategizing at an executive level; having leadership experience and the hard skills needed to contribute to the organization on a strategic and operation level. A Proactive, results driven HR Professional experienced in all aspects of human resources operations to provide direction and guidance and act as business partner to the leadership team.

Darlene is a Human Resources professional with a unique combination of private and public sector experience in both domestic and international environments. With over 25 years experience in the biotech, financial, engineering and manufacturing business sectors, she brings a wealth of knowledge, best practices and creative ideas to her clients.

Darlene’s core strengths are found in recruitment, employee relations, training and development and performance management. However she also is well versed in all the core functions of human resources such as, compensation, employee engagement, safety and change management.

As a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) with strong leadership and customer service orientation, she has earned a reputation for building effective partnerships, developing people and achieving results. Given a strong sense of community through various volunteer works, she is an avid member of Team Diabetes, which raises money to better the lives of Canadians living with diabetes.Darlene strongly believes that companies are only as good as their employees. She believes each person's contributions make a difference. Through our diversity of talents, shared enthusiasm and environment of collaboration, we are elevating lives together.
